JenksFM
Underwriters
Underwriting is how community radio sustains itself without advertising. It is a non-commercial acknowledgment — a public declaration that your business or organization stands behind the voice of Jenks, America.
JenksFM underwriters are not advertisers. They are community partners. Their support makes possible every live Trojan sports broadcast, every student spotlight, every Boomfest July 4th broadcast, and every free-to-air minute on 90.1 FM.
FCC rules prohibit commercial advertising on non-profit community radio. That means no calls to action, no price comparisons, no promotional language.
What it is instead: a brief, dignified acknowledgment that identifies your business to the community as a supporter of JenksFM. Most listeners hear underwriter acknowledgments as a mark of trust, not a sales pitch.

Why Underwrite JenksFM?
Jenks is one of the fastest-growing cities in Oklahoma, with a school district serving 12,000 students and a community of engaged, locally-rooted families. JenksFM reaches them all.
A Highly Engaged Audience
JenksFM listeners are Jenks Public Schools families — parents, grandparents, alumni, and community members who are deeply invested in the students, teams, and events we cover. They choose to listen. That attention is worth more than passive ad exposure.
Community Credibility
Being heard as a JenksFM underwriter places your business alongside the Trojans, the orchestra, the student spotlights, and the Boomfest July 4th broadcast. It signals to the community that you are invested in Jenks — not just selling to it.
Digital Presence on JenksFM.com
Every underwriter receives a listing on JenksFM.com. Named program sponsors and broadcast partners receive a full dedicated landing page — a permanent, search-indexed page telling your business's story to anyone who looks for you through JenksFM.
Tax-Deductible Contribution
Underwriting a 501(c)(3) non-profit community radio station is a tax-deductible charitable contribution — not a marketing expense. Your accountant will appreciate the distinction. Jenks Public Radio, Inc. provides written acknowledgments for all contributions.
On Air in Jenks, America
KOKT-LP 90.1 FM reaches Jenks and southern Tulsa over the air, and streams worldwide at JenksFM.com. Jenks alumni in other states, military families following their kids from overseas, and grandparents across the country all hear your acknowledgment when they tune in.
Associated with Trojan Excellence
The Jenks Trojans have won 189 state championships — more than the next five school districts combined. Jenks High School produces more National Merit Scholars than any other public school in Oklahoma. Your brand lives next to that record when you underwrite JenksFM.
