About the Foundation

Faith. Family. Football.

Allan Trimble built the Jenks Trojans football program into the most decorated in Oklahoma history — 13 state championships, a 252–43 record, and a 1997 team that is still remembered as one of the greatest in the history of prep football anywhere in the country.

But Coach Trimble always said football was the platform, not the point. When he was diagnosed with ALS — amyotrophic lateral sclerosis — in 2016, he and his wife Courtney and daughters Tylar and Tori founded the Trimble Strong Foundation. Not to fight the disease, but to do more of what gave his life meaning: helping kids.

Coach Trimble passed away on December 1, 2019, surrounded by his family. He was 56. His foundation lives on, continuing the work he started — transforming people and communities locally and around the world.

"ALS is going to eventually kill him, so he wanted to use his passion for what he truly lived for."

Allan Trimble Stadium

In August 2017, Jenks Public Schools officially renamed the district's football stadium in Coach Trimble's honor. One month later, the school district and City of Jenks dedicated a section of B Street running through campus as Allan Trimble Way.

The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame made him the first active high school coach ever inducted into its ranks. Barry Switzer — three-time national champion at Oklahoma — made a point to have his photo taken with Trimble at the announcement luncheon.

In 2023, Coach Trimble was inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame.
