Welcome to JenksFM.com, the official website and streaming platform of Jenks Public Radio, Inc., licensee of KOKT-LP 90.1 FM in Jenks, Oklahoma. By accessing or using this website or our audio stream, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and stream.

1. About JenksFM

JenksFM is operated by Jenks Public Radio, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Oklahoma. JenksFM is a non-commercial educational broadcast station licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). As such, our programming and operations are governed by FCC rules applicable to non-commercial educational (NCE) and Low Power FM (LPFM) stations.

2. Use of This Website

You may use JenksFM.com for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, redistribute, or retransmit any content from JenksFM.com without written permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to collect content from JenksFM.com without permission
• Interfere with the operation of the website or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site
• Use the site for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable

3. Audio Streaming

The JenksFM live stream and archived broadcast recordings are provided for your personal, non-commercial listening enjoyment. You may not:

• Re-stream, rebroadcast, or retransmit the JenksFM audio feed without written permission
• Record or archive our stream for redistribution
• Use our stream in any way that violates applicable copyright, performance rights, or FCC rules

Music broadcast on JenksFM is licensed through ASCAP, BMI, and SoundExchange. Rights to individual recordings belong to their respective artists, labels, and publishers.

4. User-Submitted Content

If you submit content to JenksFM — including event submissions, comments, messages, photos, or other materials — you grant Jenks Public Radio, Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with JenksFM programming and the JenksFM website.

You represent that you own or have the right to submit any content you provide, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

5. Student Spotlight Archive

Student Spotlight recordings and profiles are published as permanent community archive content. By participating in the Student Spotlight program, students and their parents or guardians consent to the permanent publication of the interview recording and profile information on JenksFM.com. Consent forms are provided at the time of scheduling and must be signed before any recording takes place.

Students or their guardians who wish to request removal of a Student Spotlight from the archive after publication should contact us directly. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

6. FCC Non-Commercial Acknowledgments

JenksFM is a non-commercial educational broadcast station. We do not broadcast paid commercial advertising. Supporters of JenksFM may be acknowledged on air in accordance with FCC rules governing underwriting acknowledgments for non-commercial stations.

FCC rules strictly limit what may be included in non-commercial underwriting acknowledgments. Acknowledgments may identify the underwriter and describe their products or services in a neutral, factual manner. They may not contain price information, calls to action, or comparative or qualitative claims. All acknowledgments broadcast on JenksFM comply with these requirements.

7. Intellectual Property

All original content on JenksFM.com — including written content, graphics, logos, the JenksFM theme, and the Student Spotlight archive — is the property of Jenks Public Radio, Inc. or its content partners, and is protected by applicable copyright law.

The JenksFM name, logo, and "The Voice of Jenks, America" tagline are trademarks of Jenks Public Radio, Inc. The Jenks Public Schools logo is used under a logo usage agreement with Jenks Public Schools and remains the property of Jenks Public Schools.

You may not use our name, logo, or trademarks without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

JenksFM.com and the JenksFM audio stream are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Jenks Public Radio, Inc. does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information published on JenksFM.com, including community calendar events and program schedules. However, information is subject to change without notice, and we cannot guarantee its accuracy at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jenks Public Radio, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of JenksFM.com or the JenksFM audio stream. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms of Use shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).

10. Third-Party Links

JenksFM.com may contain links to third-party websites, including community organizations, schools, government agencies, and underwriters. These links are provided for convenience only. Jenks Public Radio, Inc. is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any linked site.

11. Emergency Communications

JenksFM is designed to serve as a secondary emergency communications channel for the Jenks community. In the event of a community emergency, weather event, or school situation, JenksFM may interrupt regular programming to broadcast emergency information. Emergency information broadcast on JenksFM is provided in good faith based on information available at the time of broadcast. Always follow instructions from official emergency management authorities.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of JenksFM.com after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
